Village Events 2003

 A TRADITIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL, which last over a weekend, and is held on 2nd, 3rd & 4th of July 2004.

 A CRAFT FAYRE held on 24th May to 31 May in the village hall.

 THE HOLM SHOW, with Scottish Dancing, Bagpipes, Cumberland Wrestling and lots more. This will be held on 28th August 2004.

 SHEEP DOG TRIALS, which are attended by competitors and their dogs, from far-flung parts of the U.K. Usually held late summer and Autumn.

 HOGMANAY is celebrated in style in Scotland. Many caravanners return, with their vans, to Newcastleton year after year to celebrate the New Year in true Scottish style. Lidalia runs a special Hogmanay Party, visitors are welcome to join in.

 Bring your bowls, the newly refurbished Bowling Club will give you a warm welcome.

 A Legion week will be held between 14th June to 21 June with Sports and Fancy Dress.
